Those of you that know me more than likely know I have Tourette Syndrome.  Recently a Tourette Support Group started up here in the Kansas City Area.  I jumped on the chance to put up a site.  I’m all excited about it.  I hope that many people with Tourette Syndrome will benefit from this.  I have noticed how different things are today compared to when I was growing up.  Resources and concepts being talked about here are nothing like what I was used to.  I think that kids with Tourettes will benefit greatly from this, and I also feel that there is a great deal for parents to learn also.

I volenteered to put up the site, it can be found at mytourettes.com.  It is my hope that we will be able to pull together and create some wonderful articles and posts for others to benefit from.  I think that by writing about it others can understand it better.  Writing can help famlies and those with Tourettes better understand Tourette Syndrome.  Reading can educate some and also prove to show others out there with Tourette Syndrome that they are not alone.
